4-RESUME EN ANGLAIS
The water is always in movement in the estuary, almost in the shallows. In certain areas, an erosion takes place, in others there is an accumulation of mud. Dredging is necessary for the harbour that plays a important part in the economy because dredging is used to increase the draught to allow big ships to reach the harbour. There are two types of dredgers: the dredging of sediments, which consists in extracting the mud and tipping it on the bank or in the appropriate environment; and the dredging by shaking which consists in obtaining a suspension of small balls of mud in the current in order to sweep along the mud.
Dredging is essential in the estuary because without dredging, there wouldn't be any activities in the harbour because of a shallow draught
