Cette activité est conseillée au niveau 2nde ( programme d'histoire médiévale ) et suscite beaucoup d'intérêt et d'enthousiasme pour les élèves qui ont le choix de leur sujet de travail. Ils sont plus nombreux à opter pour un travail de géographie des lieux mentionnés sur la tapisserie mais aussi très motivés sur le sujet portant sur les animaux mythiques. C'est une séquence culturelle et patrimoniale concrète et ludique.
L'évaluation des élèves porte sur leur implication dans le travail d'équipe, sur leur expression orale et sur la qualité du contenu développé.
